What we collect. You may visit this Site without providing any personally identifying information to learn about GlySens and its products and services. We may automatically collect information about your visit, through cookies, web beacons, log files, java script, and other technologies. The data that we and our service providers regularly collect about visitors to this Site (e.g., number of visitors, browser type, pages accessed, duration of visit, etc.) does not enable us to identify you. We may collect the name or Internet protocol address of your Internet server, but this information generally does not reveal your identity.
The only personally identifiable information that we collect about you, such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, or other information, is what you voluntarily submit to us by sending us correspondence through this Site or applying for employment. If you do not choose to communicate with us, your visit to this Site will not provide us with information by which we could personally identify you. If you have communicated with us and no longer wish to receive our communications, you may contact email@example.com to delete your personally identifiable information from GlySens’s system.
How we collect it. GlySens collects your personally identifiable information when you correspond with us or complete a form on this Site.
How We Share Your Information. Except as described in this Policy, GlySens will not transfer any personally identifiable information about you to any third party. GlySens does reserve the right to disclose your information as we believe is reasonably necessary to comply with any law, regulation, or court order. In addition, GlySens may also disclose such information to business partners or third party service providers whom GlySens employs to provide services on its behalf (such as marketing and information gathering services). GlySens may transfer to, or share your personally identifiable information with, such business partners or service providers only to the extent the disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to enable such business partners or service providers to fulfill their obligations to GlySens or otherwise improve the services offered by the Site. Lastly, GlySens may disclose your personally identifiable information upon a transfer or sale to another entity of all or substantially all of GlySens’s assets or stock in GlySens’s line of business to which this Policy relates or upon any other corporate reorganization.
Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms. To facilitate your use of this Site, we may use “cookies.” A cookie is a small amount of data that our servers transfer to your browser and that only our servers can read. When you access certain areas on this Site, a cookie file may capture your username, unique session identifier number, and other session data to enable you to more easily utilize various features on this Site or traverse through this Site’s various screens. If you do not wish to utilize cookies, you may disable or delete them from within your Internet browser application by accessing the security or privacy settings. You may be required to have cookies enabled to access certain portions of this Site.
Clear GIFs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. Clear GIFs are small pieces of code embedded invisibly on web pages, not stored on your hard drive, which often work in conjunction with cookies. We may use clear GIFs in connection with our Services to, among other things, track the activities of users, help us manage content, and compile statistics about Site usage. We and our service providers also use clear GIFs in HTML emails to our customers, to help us track email response rates, identify when our emails are viewed, and track whether our emails are forwarded.
Pixel tags (a.k.a. web beacons, web bugs or clear GIFs) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. In contrast to cookies, though, clear GIFs are embedded invisibly on web pages, not stored on your hard drive. We might use clear GIFs to track the activities of users of our Services, to help us manage content, and compile statistics about usage. We and our service providers also might use clear GIFs in HTML e-mails to our customers, to help us track e-mail response rates, identify when our e-mails are viewed, and track whether our e-mails are forwarded.
Our Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals. For more information about Do Not Track signals, see the description available at http://www.allaboutdnt.com/. You may, however, disable certain tracking as discussed in the Cookies and Other Tracking Mechanisms section above (e.g., by disabling cookies). A Special Note about Children. GlySens does not knowingly gather any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. You must be 13 years of age or older to access the Site. GlySens has no interest in collecting information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our systems.
Security. GlySens employs procedural and technological measures reasonably designed to protect your personally identifiable information from loss or unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These methods may include use of encryption and firewall technology. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.
